I love to cook foods on a grill - it's a great way to keep the heat out of the kitchen. I know there are many experienced cooks who will only use charcoal, but for quick and easy outdoor cooking, you just can't beat a gas grill.

If you're new to grilling, here are a few things to remember for preparing healthy foods:

  • Keep your grill clean. You don't want to ruin the flavor of your foods or worry about foodborne illness.
  • Grill fish, tofu or chicken instead of hamburgers or hot dogs. Fish cooks quickly on the grill and is so delicious.
  • Don't forget the veggies. Sweet corn, zucchini, mushroom, eggplant and asparagus are perfect for grilling.
