It isn't always easy to estimate how much food your family will eat in one meal, or maybe you got a good deal at the meat department in the grocery store. So when you cook that big turkey or roast beef, there's a good chance you'll have some leftovers.

You can use those leftovers on sandwiches for lunch the next day, or use them in some easy meals over the next few days:

Be sure to store any leftovers safely in the refrigerator and use them up within three to four days, or put them in the freezer.
