One of the keys to quick and healthy cooking is to keep your stable of recipes simple, and Can you imagine preparing a whole meal with only five ingredients? And I mean real, full meals. These five ingredient meals are all easy to prepare and with so few ingredients, you can keep your kitchen stocked with everything you need. A typical five ingredient meal combines single ingredients such as a pork chop or type of seasoning with pre-made salads or sauces, so the work is minimal. All the five minute meals are easy, and there's even more fast five minute meals.

You can create your own five ingredient meals by combining a source of protein such as fish, seafood, steak or chicken with one or two seasonings and pair with a mixed salad or one of those delicious frozen vegetable blends packed in their own sauce (it's one container so it counts as one ingredient for the meal). Add your favorite crusty bread or rolls and dinner is served.
